We plan urban illuminations around the place rather than the catalogue: a market square, a pedestrianised street, a roundabout, a village street and a public building differ in scale and in visibility. We start from what is already there — we fit pole decorations to street lamps and lighting columns, and the same elements can be adapted for mounting on a façade. We also make bespoke elements, including one-offs, where the location calls for it.
Work begins with an enquiry: describe the place and the deadline, and we answer with a design — the decoration first appears on a photograph of the actual square or street, and the visualisation itself is free of charge. We take part in public tenders and prepare the documents and materials required on our side. Frequently asked questions
Do you take part in public tenders?
Yes. We take part in procedures run by local authorities and prepare the documents that fall to us ourselves — together with the tender materials and structural calculations from an external engineering office, where the tender requires them.
How can a local authority order Christmas illuminations?
You can buy the decorations, take them on seasonal rental, or have the whole project delivered with installation and maintenance. Rental is ordered mainly by local authorities, though not only by them. We match the model to the needs and the budget of the organisation.
Where are the decorations kept between seasons?
Rented decorations stay with us — upkeep of the rented items is our responsibility. Purchased decorations we store when they come from our own production: after removal they go into a dry, secured hall, and before the next season we check their condition and report any repairs needed.
Who obtains consent for mounting decorations on street lamps?
Consent from the road or street-lighting authority is usually obtained by the client — for local matters, an application from the council or an institution based there tends to be more effective. If the need arises, we can apply for it ourselves.
Can the decorations be matched to our street lamps and the size of our square?
Yes. We match the structures and sizes to the site, the lighting columns and the character of the place, and pole decorations can also be adapted for mounting on a façade. We also make elements to bespoke dimensions, including one-offs.
Can Christmas decorations be used for occasions other than Christmas?
On light cards the decoration is interchangeable, not the frame — one structure can carry a Christmas, Easter or Valentine motif. The range also includes displays without a winter motif, suitable for year-round exhibition.
