Components, not finished decorations
The other product groups begin with a form: a structure, a design, a silhouette that is placed or hung in a particular spot. Here it works the other way round — these are the materials such decorations are built from, and the materials used to light everything around them. Finished decorations complete with their own structure sit in the other groups in our range.
Components are used when a decoration is being built to your own design, or when an existing installation needs adding to. In both cases, what matters is that the new parts match what is already installed.
Specifications, not general descriptions
Every item is listed with fields taken straight from our system: voltage, LED colour, cable colour, dimensions, number of light points and pack contents. We show exactly what the data contains, and we leave blank fields blank.
When an installation is built up from several elements, this matters more than any description of mood: the data shows whether a new item will match the rest. The light colour — warm, cool or mixed — is chosen for the whole project, so that sections bought under different orders do not end up out of step with one another.
How the categories differ
The main difference between the categories is how they are used. LED string lights give a continuous line of light that is run along the shape of a decoration; LED rope light and neon flex come on continuous reels; curtain lights and icicle lights hang down from a fixing point.
Icicle lights are hung mainly outdoors — along roof edges and the canopies above entrances — although the same items can also be used indoors.

Frequently asked questions
In what units are components sold?
In metres, in sets or as individual items — the unit depends on the product. Give the quantity you need in whichever unit that product is sold by.
Can I order less than a full pack?
Yes, provided the product can be supplied in a smaller unit — for example a length cut from a larger roll. There is no minimum quantity or order value on components alone, so the order size follows what the project requires.
How will my order be delivered?
How we deliver depends on the whole order. A single component or a small item that can go by parcel is sent by courier. If the component is part of a larger project, it travels with the decorations in the transport for the whole order.
What should I do if a component bought separately stops working?
Through the complaints process: a component bought separately should be returned to us, and we handle the case that way. A fault on a decoration already installed on site is a different matter — report that to our maintenance team.
Will new components work with our existing older installation?
Yes — the components we use today remain backward-compatible with earlier CR Iluminacje installations. If you are assembling an installation in-house, we can help you work out both the quantities required and how individual items fit together.
Do roof-edge icicle lights come with their own fixings?
Icicle lights fitted along a roof edge come with factory-fitted hooks and cabling made for exactly that method of installation. They are the exception: most decorations have no single fixed method of fixing, because it depends on the structure, the site and how the client wants the installation carried out.
Do the decorations need to be switched on manually?
No — they do not need to be switched on manually. On request, we fit a timer switch that turns the illuminations on and off at set times. Simply mention this in your enquiry, ideally with the hours during which the decorations should be lit.
What happens if a decoration stops working during the season?
Our maintenance team takes the fault on: minor repairs are carried out on site, while larger faults mean the decoration comes back to our workshop. With your report, please include a photo of the damage or the symptom, the name and code of the decoration, and a short description — whether it does not light up at all, lights up only partially, or works erratically. Give us the location as well if we are to collect the decoration from the installation site.
