Service

Maintenance

Prompt repairs during the season and full refurbishment of light decorations — structure and lighting.

Introduction

In-season repairs and full restoration

A fault during the display period and wear after several seasons are two different problems. The first calls for an on-the-spot repair; the second for a planned refurbishment that brings the decoration back to a condition in which it can be used for further seasons. We do both on decorations bought from another manufacturer as well, agreeing the scope of work separately in those cases.

Renovation covers both the structure and the lighting. We repair or replace the lighting, replace the PVC needle infill and PVC mesh, straighten the frame and repaint it, and this is also a good opportunity to change the colours of the decoration. Replacing the lighting with a different one, changing its parameters or the colour of the light and adding fittings to a decoration are not part of standard renovation — such work is possible on individual request, at an additional charge.

Most of the work is carried out in our workshop. Our on-site teams do not carry a full stock of parts and materials, so minor faults are put right on site — anything more serious has to come back to us. We cover the whole of Poland, Czechia and Slovakia, and in Belgium we work with a local partner.

We can also repair decorations that are several years old and replace missing parts. We do not commit to a fixed period during which parts for a particular design stay available. Sometimes restoration simply stops being worthwhile — it depends on the overall condition of the decoration and, above all, on how badly the aluminium structure is damaged.

We handle warranty claims under the terms of the project contract. Maintenance ordered as a standalone service is quoted and invoiced separately.

How it works

What happens after you report a fault

  1. 1

    Fault description and photos

We need to know what has stopped working, where the decoration is installed and how it is fixed in place. Photos or a short video shorten this part of the conversation. If the decoration was made by someone else, we agree the scope of work individually.

  2. 2

    Workshop or on site

We first decide where the repair can be carried out. Faults our team can deal with using the equipment on the van are fixed on site; anything more involved means taking the decoration down and working on it in the workshop.

  3. 3

    Refurbishment scope and quotation

With a restoration, the scope depends on the condition of the piece: the lighting alone, replacing the PVC needle infill or PVC mesh, straightening and repainting the frame, or changing the colour scheme. We also assess whether restoration is still worthwhile given the condition of the frame.

  4. 4

    Final check before return

Before a decoration goes back to the customer, we put it through the same technical check we carry out on every item before dispatch and after it returns from rental.

Who we work for

Whose decorations we repair

Some clients use decorations we made ourselves, now going into another season; if the set spends the winter in our warehouse, the inspection is included in the storage price. Others bought their decorations elsewhere, and we then agree the scope of work for each individual piece. Enquiries come most often from local authorities, shopping centre managers, owners of commercial properties, developers and public institutions. A pre-season inspection is standard for pre-owned and rented decorations; for everything else, the scope follows the contract or a separate order.

Send a photo of the fault and a short description

Tell us what has gone wrong with the decoration and attach a photo. We will come back with a proposal: an on-site repair, a workshop repair, or a refurbishment with an agreed scope of work.
