QF

The name comes from Quick Fix — a motif can be fixed quickly between the products that make up the line: string lights and icicle lights. Instead of hanging a separate decoration, the motif is added to a run that is going to be lit anyway, so a plain line of light gains a theme and a rhythm of its own. What Quick Fix means
The name refers to the fixing method, not the motif. QF (Quick Fix) is a system for clipping small decorative elements straight onto a lighting line: the motif attaches to an existing run of lights instead of being hung separately on its own bracket.

What QF works with
QF elements are designed to work only with CR Iluminacje products. It is worth checking compatibility at the outset: if the light line is ours, the motif clips straight into it; if it came from another supplier, the fit needs to be confirmed before ordering.
Choosing a motif
These are small-format decorations, seen at close range: they add detail along a run of lighting rather than forming its focal point. It is worth choosing the motif together with the light colour used across the project — warm white, cool white or mixed. We also produce made-to-order pieces as one-offs, so the number of elements follows the length of the line rather than any minimum order quantity.

Frequently asked questions
Where does a QF element get its power from?
It draws power from the line it is connected to — the element has no battery of its own. It can also be used as a standalone decoration, but it still needs an external, wired power supply.
Who connects QF elements into the line?
Either our team or your own staff can fit it — no special tools or additional qualifications are needed to make the connection.
At what spacing can elements be connected to the line?
Spacing depends on the product the element is fitted to: string lights allow a connection point every 10 m, and icicle lights every 2 m. Each connection adds load to the line, but we do not apply a separate fixed limit on the number of elements per run.
Are QF decorations suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, its ingress protection rating is IP67. We use the same products indoors as we do outdoors, so an element wired into a run inside a building carries exactly the same rating.
Can I replace or order an individual element separately?
Yes. If a fault occurs, we replace only the affected element rather than the whole run of the line. Elements are also sold individually, with no minimum order quantity, and older QF elements remain compatible with the string lights and icicle lights we supply today.
How are the decorations built to withstand outdoor conditions?
The structures are built for outdoor use and designed to last for many seasons. On large batch orders, structural calculations for an individual item are carried out by an external engineering consultancy.
What happens if a decoration stops working during the season?
Our maintenance team takes the fault on: minor repairs are carried out on site, while larger faults mean the decoration comes back to our workshop. With your report, please include a photo of the damage or the symptom, the name and code of the decoration, and a short description — whether it does not light up at all, lights up only partially, or works erratically. Give us the location as well if we are to collect the decoration from the installation site.
