Hearts and lettering — two designs for one occasion

A heart is instantly recognisable from any distance and any angle, with no caption or context needed. The second design uses lettering: “I LOVE YOU” as a freestanding figure, and “LOVE” paired with a heart inside a tunnel. Lettering imposes proportions that a simple symbol does not — one of these figures is wide and shallow, because the whole phrase sits on a single line and there is nothing to build up in depth.
